WWII British Commando Cap Badge.
An original badge-these were cast in-theater. No. 50 Middle East Commando was formed in July 1940. No. 51 raised in October 1941 and made of Jewish and Palestinian volunteers. No. 52 Middle East Commando raised in November 1941. All three units were short lived. The same badge worn by all three units. Badge is based on the knuckleduster weapon carried by these units
Measures 1.1 x3.9 cm. Loop fittings intact. Good condition.
