WW2 1944 William Anderson & Sons Ltd Set of 4 Correspondence Military Outfitter
Military Outfitters - now known as Kinloch Anderson
In 1944, Dr. George W. Grenhart commissioned William Anderson & Sons Ltd to deliver a specially woven 'Anderson' Tartan.
All 4 are signed by the then Manager - "J.E. Dempster"
Through the course of the correspondence, William Anderson & Sons Ltd is not able to deliver the tartan due to issues with the manufacturers.
Not included - Dr. George Grenhart's military chronology shown in the last two photos.  For provenance only.
Photos are from the WW2 Scrapbook and War album of LCDR George W. Grenhart MC. He was a medical officer in the United States Navy stationed at Penarth Wales from 1943 - 1944.  He later went on to serve in the PTO aboard the USS Anacostia before and after its commissioning in February 1945.
