Nickname of the boat was "Black Betty". Sponsored by Dutch bank ABN AMRO I . The ABN AMRO I was a second generation Volvo 70 boat designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian. This is the boat that won the Volvo Ocean Race in the 2005/2006 regatta, captained by Mike Anderson.
This plastic model of the ship includes a fixed stand on which the ship rests.
These were produced in a very limited number and very rarely show up for sale, much less in this condition!
