Description
Here is a string tied bundle of 12 rare and original WWII era buttons of the 27th Lancers, a wartime cavalry unit that only existed from 1941 to 1945. They were formed around a cadre taken from the 12th Lancers. They served in armor in Egypt, Italy, and Austria. There are 12 larger coat buttons, 7/8 of an inch across. These are, I believe, all by Gaunt. I have not taken the bundle apart- the front and back individual buttons I have shown are from a separate but essentially identical group. These came from a collection of buttons purchased from the estate of an old friend who bought these from tailors and suppliers back in about 1959. If not what I describe it to be, you may return it for a full refund, including postage. Please note: We will ship the buttons as carefully and inexpensively as we can. If we charge you over what it actually costs us, then we will issue you a refund for the difference.
