My husband and I have were married in May of 1977 and have known each other for 15 years before we were married. And they said it would never last. I do not do FREE SHIPPING, why should I hike up the price of an item just to give you what you think is free shipping, y'all aren't stupid. I adjust the shipping cost to your area this is why I ask for you not to pay until you receive my invoice. If you want to know the shipping cost before you buy just send me the question and I'll get back to you with the shipping cost. And if you pay right away without my invoice and the cost isn't enough you will get another invoice with the amount due. Items sold are from our family's estate. Our closets are full as well as our barn. Yup, I said barn; we live in a small very quiet town in Michigan with a few acres (10). I enjoy going to country garage sales during the summer months and local estate sales, also I shop at resale shops and consignment store, I have no idea of the items I purchase come from a non-smoking and pet free home. We have family members and friends that smoke when they come to visit, so some items could have the odor of cigarette smoke.
I pride myself in buying a quality new and used name brand items to sell. I'm always looking for items that have been discontinued and vintage items. If an item you purchase does have an odor please don't take it out on me when leaving feedback, the buyers already know there might be an odor from reading my bio.
Some items are new in packages and other items are like new with little wear. Some items have been here a while and my smell of smoke even after washing, smoke scent should come out with another washing. We try hard to get the scent out but sometimes this is hard to do, smoke can get into and on to everything. We do use our wood-burning fireplace during the fall and winter some items might have a smoke smells even after our washing and storing in plastic bags. All washable items are washed before shipping even those items that have been here a while are washed again, other items are wiped down and cleaned. Hope this helps you before you place a bid.
I put a little higher shipping cost because I have no idea what area I'll be shipping to, this is why I ask you not to pay until you receive my invoice. I will make the adjustments on the cost of shipping it could be less than what I stated and again it could cost a little more, if you pay before you get my invoice and the shipping amount is too high I'll refund the difference back to your Pay Pal account. Buyers seem to forget that it takes time and money to wash and dry items and then there are all the packing material and the gas it takes to go to the post office. If your not a seller on eBay you don't know how eBay and Pay Pal nickel and dime a seller for everything from making labels to insertions fees. I hope you understand the seller's dilemma. I use USPS for shipping. I will ship your item ASAP after payment is received. All of my packages will include USPS delivery confirmation. I will ship same day if payment is made and the post office is still open. My post office hours are M-F 9:30 to 5:00, Sat 9:30 am to noon. I only live about a 1/2 mile from the post office so it's nothing to me if I make several trips in one day. The quicker you pay the faster you'll get your item.
